Akuk

Akuk started in February 2017. It created a lot of activities and it held a lot of training and meetings. This workbook serves the following purposes:

• Provide an overview of Akuk to new members;

• Keep track of all the accomplishments and nice moments;

• Provide guidelines to the Akuk Coordinator;

• Provide tools and games to help facilitate activities and meetings.

Mission

To support and empower people (youth in particular) to reach their full potential so they can acknowledge their talent and capacity to be active members of the community with training sessions, activities and meetings.

Vision

An uplifting community, inspiring youth to be proud of their identity by recognizing their values and empowering them to become active leaders.

Objectives

Offer a space to share information to promote collaboration and link professionals to identify common goals and work in complementarity

Provide trainings to equip young workers to face professional challenges.

Enable the Youth to have the right to say in any political engagements in the community.

Provide activities focusing on:

• Intergenerational links;

• Promoting culture;

• Empowering the Youth;

• Inspiring and motivating youth to be change makers in the community.
